“The Rulers” is the first in a series of astrology courses designed to provide you with the foundations for deeper self- and group-study. Kick off the astrological new year with a cohort of astrology students at the inaugural course, taking place on the first full moon lunar eclipse of 2024.

We will review the ruling planets of the zodiac and their domiciles — the houses of astrology — which represent the areas of our lives. We’ll cover:

-a brief astrological forecast of the year

-the basic structure of the natal chart

-the significations of planets and houses

-an intro to planetary transits and aspects

-the “rulers” of the chart, including an understanding of your own personal chart rulers

-a closing ritual recommendation for the full moon

*You’ll go home with a custom frameable birth chart for continuing study & reflection.

This course is a prerequisite for more advanced courses that will be offered over the year. Light refreshments will be served, and you’re welcome to BYOB. If you would like to deepen community, a coven meeting and ritual circle will take place immediately after the class.
